i can do little, to nothing
but love
God created life
man is his covenant with creation
man does not have religion (or not)
he is religion
if it weren't for you
i wouldn't love as i do
you threw me a life-line
when i was in a distant universe
you brought me back to this world
nourishing me with love, tenderness, over-flowing
joy
if it weren't for you
i would have expired
in a dark, dismal hole
alone
in a vast emptyness
that should have been my heart
you gave me love
you restored my heart

you poured your very soul into mine
a spiritual transfusion, the most sacred ceremony
in the religion that is man
Once you've experienced
the most complete beautiful
spiritual love
imaginable
there is no striving
there is no desire
or want
the heart is so full
having experienced complete unobstructed union
it is content to marvel
at the beauty of life
and where there is sorrow
and suffering
in some mystical, vicarious way
it takes that pain upon itself...
spirit, alone, has the power to help the world

You see, love really does heal--
My Beloved JIll, thank you
I am now, what I always wanted to be
I love you, JIll
sometimes we find ourselves
blaming god for all that is wrong in the world
but if we would only open our hearts
to the love he so abundantly bathes us in
we would find the solution to all the worlds problems
our hearts can literally heal the world
open your heart
receive till it bursts with love
then turn that love on the world
can anyone say:
"Heaven on Earth"
in this
my solitary prison
i dissolve boundaries
exceede limits, destroy order
that creation, may begin
I love thunder and lightning
stormy weather, walking on precipices edge
i love crazy women
a woman in extreme
is a beautiful, beautiful thing

sitting on earth's edge
feet dangling in space
identity is not an issue
as in my consciousness
spirit grows, ego diminishes
i find it less and less
pressing
to know who i am
arms reaching out and around each other
legs intertwined
finding just the right position
for communion, absolution
in that moment of stillness
of body and soul
we are what we desire
the yearning finds completion
peace...
would that the world
stop
in that moment, hold us captive
caught in heaven's embrace

you know what i have always
admired in a man?
the ability to hold the toothpaste in one hand
the toothbrush in the other
squeeze out some paste
and then without putting anything down
replace the top on the toothpaste!

Beyond anything you have done for me
I love you
Beyond anything you have done to me
I love you
today, yesterday, tomorrow and beyond...
I love you
This moment has its joys and its sorrows
This moment will pass, give way to tomorrow
yet it lives
forever
here, in my heart
there is no politial solution
not really
politics is but skiming the surface
...always superficial
the problem lies much deeper than that
we must get to the roots of our inner being
take it down to the very foundations of life
find and connect with
the divine light within:
"if you bringforth what is within you
what you bring forth will save you
what you do not bring will destroy you"

(Jesus, Gospel of Thomas)
which way does your paper hang?
toliet paper, that is
does it unroll from over the top
or pull down from the bottom?
which is correct?

SECRET WEAPON: The Secret Weapon that nobody wants you to know about! (especially the current administration that makes use of fear, lies and deceit to effect political control) The "secret" is a simple principle contained in the I Ching: "Joy in movement induces following/followers readily join a movement that is associated with Joy." Those who utilize fear as a means of social control also run the risk of their own destruction; again, referring to the I Ching, "if a man has to obtain a following by force or cunning, by conspiracy or by creating factions, he invariably arouses resistance which obstructs willing adherence." When the Bush administration burns itself out, we need to be there ready to advance. WE can do this by means of operationalizing the simple principle previously stated. The Progressive movement which is largely self-divided by committment to each groups own issues must overcome this liability and start working on unification. Deploy the principle of Joy at the grassroots level--start partying! Seriously, coming together on the basis of food, music and dance transcends all issues and divisions. JOYOUSNESS can fasciltate alliances among issue-based groups and create grassroots political power. We need to be united horizontally (heh heh) not vertically. Party-down all you freedom-loving people, party-down!
